Rehearsals
What a rehearsal is like
We rehearse on Tuesdays 6.30–9.30 pm at the old fire station at Gåsebäck. An evening includes a warm-up, learning (by ear and with practice tracks) and plenty of laughter. You don’t need to prepare anything – just come as you are.
Experience
Do I need to read music?
No. Many in the chorus learn by ear with the help of practice recordings. Reading music is a plus, but it is not a requirement.
Voice parts
Which part will I sing?
Barbershop has four parts: Tenor (the high harmony), Lead (the melody), Baritone (fills the harmony) and Bass (the deep foundation). Not sure which one you are? We will help you find your part.
